Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) - Dulcinea Residential
Ensures coordination of services and continuity of care of participants. Adheres to the HFS/DMH residential requirements as well as to the Conditional Release program requirements. Provides delivery of behavioral health services and ensures continuous quality improvement in relation to program goals and standards. Provides appropriate crisis management services. Works closely with the courts, the state mental health facilities, and other programs and service providers in the community to increase participants’ access to needed services and to strengthen community relationships. Provides therapeutic interventions that facilitate illness self-management, psychosocial rehab, skill building, identification of natural supports, and use of community resources to persons with severe mental illness, co-occurring disorders and/or those on conditional release. Uses intensive outreach strategies to engage participants in services. Monitors participants’ symptoms and medication regularly. Implements crisis services in consultation with supervisor/psychiatrist and makes sure that participants are safe and obtain timely access to services. Documents all services using program standards.
Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) required. Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work or Psychology preferred. Bilingual-Spanish preferred. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet program needs.
