Bilingual Respite Worker (Part-time)

Provides relief on a short-term basis, minimally 4 hours, for primary caregivers in emergencies, or as scheduled in order to reduce the potential for crisis and/or the likelihood of placement in a more intensive setting.  Respite services are provided primarily in family or foster homes.  Must have completed at least eight years of grade school, and be able to demonstrate 8^th grade literacy in language and reading.  One to three years experience with developmentally disabled individuals is required.  Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a driving record acceptable to the Agency insurance carrier are required in order to transport participants.
