Community Honoree

Marvin Lindsey, CEO, CBHA
For more than 15 years, Marvin Lindsey has been one of the strongest voices advocating for a comprehensive, accessible system of quality behavioral healthcare services for the people of Illinois. First as Vice President of Government Affairs, and now as CEO, Lindsey guides the Community Behavioral Healthcare Association of Illinois (CBHA) in advancing structural and legislative changes positively affecting countless lives.

Chapman and Cutler, LLP has been a steadfast supporter of Association House for nearly two decades and serves as a philanthropic leader in Chicagoland and beyond. Chapman continuously advances efforts to address the systemic barriers that affect the individuals served by Association House.

Meet Our Emcee

Marybel González
Four-time Emmy Award Winner, Marybel González will emcee the evening’s festivities. González is seen daily on Noticiero Telemundo Chicago, where she reports on politics, immigration, health, and various stories from the Latino community, among other topics.
Before joining Telemundo Chicago, González worked for CBS 4 in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas as an investigative reporter and news anchor. She is a national recipient of the Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting.
González is originally from Denver, Colorado and proudly of Mexican parents. She studied international relations at Pomona College and received her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
