I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and bring over a decade of experience in education, workforce development, program leadership, and community-based training initiatives. Throughout my career, I have led and supported programs focused on career readiness, digital literacy, employment training, and barrier reduction for diverse communities across Chicago. What about your work inspires you? I am inspired by helping participants overcome barriers and achieve personal and professional growth. Seeing participants gain confidence, complete training programs, and successfully transition into employment is the most rewarding part of my work. What's a fun fact about yourself? I love traveling and exploring different cultures, especially through food, family traditions, and local experiences. Subhadeep is actively pursuing opportunities to contribute to the community as a member of non-profit boards of directors in the Chicagoland area, after completion of a certification on Non Profit Board from Kellogg school of management. In his leisure time, Subhadeep finds solace and enjoyment in various pursuits. He is an avid sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about cricket and soccer. He frequently engages in pick-up games with friends, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition. Subhadeep also has a culinary flair and delights in preparing delicious meals for his family and friends, bringing people together through the joy of food. Why I Serve? < Back Filiberto Rios Senior Director of Community Health and Workforce Development Filiberto serves as Senior Director of Community Health and Workforce Development Programs. He oversees community health education and intervention initiatives, as well as workforce development and technology training programs. He has over five years of experience developing and implementing programs to assist underserved, racial and ethnic minority, and at-risk urban populations. Filiberto originally joined Association House in 2006 as an Americorps Volunteer. Filiberto holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Spertus Institute. I strongly believe that Association House continues in the settlement house tradition of working toward a healthier community. I am proud to work with a dedicated team, who work to empower and elevate residents in areas of education, mental health, and employment.
