This 6-week prerequisite course is the first step toward industry certifications and advanced technical training. In the NCCER Core Construction Basics Training, you will learn: Introduction to construction and trade career paths Proper use of hand and electrical tools Construction math and blueprint reading Worker safety and protection Upon completion , you’ll earn the NCCER Core Construction Certification and become eligible for our Solar PV Installer Training . Solar PV Installer Training Build on your foundation with our hands-on Solar PV Installer Training ! Designed for graduates of the NCCER Core Construction Basics Training, this course provides real-world experience to prepare for opportunities in the rapidly growing solar energy sector. In the Solar PV Installer Training, you will gain: Practical skills to install, maintain, and troubleshoot photovoltaic systems Experience in solar energy application Preparation for roles in solar energy industry Graduates will earn the Solar PV Associate NABCEP credential , an industry-recognized certification for professionals in the field of renewable energy. Upon completing our Pre-Apprenticeship Program , you’ll be connected to Registered Apprenticeship opportunities in clean energy. The program’s overall goal is for participants build their skills to function independently and confidently in the community. History of psychiatric hospitalizations “When I first came here, I was going through hard changes because I had nowhere to live. I was so happy that they (AHC) gave me a hand, It felt like they understood me. When I was in the hospital I lost my apartment, and they gave me a place to stay.
