Mental Health Awareness Training Facilitator

About the Role

Conducts community heath workshops, mental health awareness trainings, and engages in community events that promote wellness. Primarily, facilitates Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings with fidelity to the core program model and key messages. Assists with the organization and staffing of agency health fairs, blood drives, and other health promotion events. Documents services and deliverables following program guidelines. Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor preferred.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, or healthcare preferred. 

  • Experience working with diverse populations, schools, and community groups. 

  • Experience as a trainer or educator, facilitating health and wellness curriculum preferred. 

  • Reliable and independent transportation. 

  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours to meet program operations and needs. 

  • Valid IL driving license and proof of automobile liability insurance preferred.
