In 2009, Tauseef was promoted from Branch Supervisor to Assistant Branch Manager and has since had the pleasure of working at eight different locations, helping him gain experience with diverse demographics throughout the Chicagoland area. His most recent role was as a Branch General Manager at the Jefferson Park location, previously working at the Downtown Chicago branch. On June 3rd, 2023, Tauseef assumed the role of District Manager, responsible for locations in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin. Additionally, he serves as the Co-Lead for the Illinois/Wisconsin Inclusion Council, a driving force for engagement among Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and communities. His mentor and Sponsoring Executive, Chris Sweetland, has provided him with a significant advantage in making strides swiftly. Tauseef is highly career-driven, and despite not having children, he enjoys his beloved 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide, with which he has embarked on journeys, including a memorable 2,500-mile trip to Texas and back in 2020. He is enthusiastic about making a difference and being a great ambassador for Huntington.
Why I Serve?
Community involvement is a top priority for Tauseef. Serving on the Economic Awareness Council Board is a prestigious role dedicated to assisting underprivileged youth and neighborhoods in Chicago. Tauseef, who grew up on the Northside of Chicago and attended CPS, feels honored to make a difference. The EAC oversees four different not-for-profit groups, including One Summer Chicago, a favorite of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, which provides employment opportunities for youth during the summer. Most recently, Tauseef collaborated with Association House, another non-profit organization that supports individuals ranging from youth to the homeless and those with special needs. He is excited about the numerous opportunities for advancement within Huntington, such as the Consumer Segment Leader program, Elite Leadership program, and Accelerated Talent program. Participation in these programs provides Tauseef with different perspectives and enhances his understanding of the organization he currently works for. Tauseef eagerly looks forward to making a difference.
