Donate a Gift, Bequest or Goods and Service
The community, education and wellness programs at Association House of Chicago are made possible in part through the generous donations of our partners, friends and supporters. When you invest in Association House of Chicago, your donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. There are several ways you can make contributions that will improve the quality of life in our community:
The services Association House provides would not be possible without monetary donations from individuals, organizations, businesses, and foundations. Unrestricted gifts of any amount are welcome and greatly appreciated.
Association House of Chicago is a BBB Accredited Charity, meeting all 20 Better Business Bureau Standards for Accountability. We are a GuideStar Silver Participant.
Many companies match an employee’s donation to charitable organizations. Ask your employer if there is a matching gifts program at your workplace. You may be able to double your contribution to Association House.

A bequest is a statement of intent that can be inserted in your will or living trust, and this planned gift is completely free of estate and other taxes. A charitable bequest can be established for a specific dollar amount, or for percentage of an estate or residuary estate. Naming opportunities are available at various giving levels. If you have included Association House in your will, please notify us so we may recognize your thoughtfulness.
Other Ways to Give
In-kind gifts are also very important to program operations and helpful to the families we serve. Donations of baby clothes, car seats and unused household and hygiene items such as diapers, baby wipes, laundry detergent, toothpaste, bathing soap for adults, children and babies, and disinfectant cleaners and wipes. Non-perishable food items are always needed in the Food Pantry. Art and educational supplies will be put to good use in our educational programs. And new toys will help provide joy to a disadvantaged child or teen.
The gift of your time is priceless to Association House and the families we serve. There are select opportunities to utilize your skills and become involved in the programs of Association House that serve a diverse and multi-generational community.
