Our Approach
NCCER Core Construction Basics Training
Start your journey with the NCCER Core Curriculum, a nationally recognized foundational course designed to prepare you for a successful career in the construction trades. This 6-week prerequisite course is the first step toward industry certifications and advanced technical training.
In the NCCER Core Construction Basics Training, you will learn:

Introduction to construction and trade career paths

Proper use of hand and electrical tools

Construction math and blueprint reading

Worker safety and protection
Upon completion, you’ll earn the NCCER Core Construction Certification and become eligible for our Solar PV Installer Training.
Solar PV Installer Training
Build on your foundation with our hands-on Solar PV Installer Training! Designed for graduates of the NCCER Core Construction Basics Training, this course provides real-world experience to prepare for opportunities in the rapidly growing solar energy sector.
In the Solar PV Installer Training, you will gain:

Practical skills to install, maintain, and troubleshoot photovoltaic systems

Experience in solar energy application

Preparation for roles in solar energy industry
Graduates will earn the Solar PV Associate NABCEP credential, an industry-recognized certification for professionals in the field of renewable energy.
Eligibility

Ages 18+
-
Completion of all program enrollment forms

Physical ability to perform activities related to solar installation work, including but not limited to: standing for long periods (sometimes on a sloped surface), bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, working above the shoulders, working with manual and electric hand tools, repetitive motions, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, working in direct sunlight, working with trip hazards, and working at heights
