Assists in developing, implementing and monitoring Agency financial functions. Reconciles accounts balance sheet accounts, prepares schedules and journal entries.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficient with General Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and demonstrable writing ability.
Experience with financial software; general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.
3 years experience in accounting, preferably in a not-for-profit environment, particularly a social service agency.
Other accounting experience or education may be considered as satisfaction of this requirement.
Computer proficiency with Excel.
