Gambling Outreach Coordinator

About the Role

Within the Visions substance use program, the Outreach Coordinator will provide outreach gambling services. Implements intensive outreach strategies to connect new referrals to services, keep participants engaged in treatment, and to support their recovery. Links participants to needed support services in the community. Provides presentations on gambling disorder to community groups and attends outreach events. Documents services following program standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 30 Hour Gambling Disorder Training through the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (IDHS/SUPR) preferred (or within the first 6 months of hire date).

  •  Licensed driver with a use of car, current insurance, a valid driver’s license, and a driving record acceptable to Agency insurance carrier.

  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate program needs.
