About the Role
Provide digital literacy and various information technology trainings. Ability to use a variety of individualized and small group teaching techniques to help participants learn and develop skills related to the technology industry. Course training subjects cover, but are not limited to, Basic Digital Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite. Support program activities, such as recruitment, enrollment, and successful retention of program participants.
Requirements
Associates Degree in the culinary arts required.
Bachelors preferred.
Valid food handler’s license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the culinary and/or hospitality industry.
Experience in facilitating professional adult training (trainer, teacher, instructor, or educator).
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and have an interest in serving justice involved participant population.
Experience in recruiting, assessing, enrolling, career coaching and placing participants strongly preferred.
Flexibility to work evening and weekends to meet program operations and needs.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data entry.
Become a ServSafe Certified Instructor and Proctor within 60 days of employment.
