Bilingual Intake & Admissions Specialist – Visions (30 Hours/Week)

About the Role

Answers, greets, and directs phone inquiries/calls and walk-ins to the Visions program. Provides an overview of program information to prospective participants. Interviews incoming participants or participant representatives to determine appropriateness for service. Obtains key demographic and insurance information and enters information required for admission into computer. Assists program supervisor in obtaining intake documents, reviewing and entering admission information, and submitting participant registrations. Maintains confidentiality. Makes appointments, creates participant invoices, and provides receipt of payment received. Scans, files, faxes documents, prepares them for mail-out. Coordinates services with program supervisors and direct staff to ensure timely follow up to requests. Assists the Quality Administrator in administrative and clerical support duties

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or G.E.D. required.  

  • Experience with client billing, admissions, medical records, and DMH/DASA policies preferred.  

  • Bilingual Spanish/English required.  

  • Ability to work flexible hours.
