“Know Your Status Project” offers free, confidential, 60-second HIV testing to the community via a mobile unit. Results are given to participants on the same day. Additionally, all participants receive condom kits.

Linkage to Care:

Our Linkage to care program is for HIV positive individuals who are newly diagnosed or who have fallen out of medical care. The overall goal is to connect participants to medical care. While doing this, participants are referred to other services that might hinder their success in being connected to care.

Health Relationships Support Group:

Healthy Relationships is a five-session, small-group intervention for men and women living with HIV/AIDS.

It is based on Social Cognitive Theory and focuses on developing skills and building self-efficacy and positive expectations about new behaviors through modeling behaviors and practicing new skills. Decision-making and problem-solving skills are developed to enable participants to make informed and safe decisions about disclosure and behavior. Contact us for our Healthy Relationships schedule.

Condom Distribution:

Need Condoms? We got you covered! Association House of Chicago is part of the condom distribution project which provides communities access to condoms free of charge. Come to the AHC and ask for the HIV program. Don’t have time? Shoot us an email! We will mail you a care package with goodies!
