Basic Computer Education

Our Basic Computer Education course is designed to empower community residents with the current fundamental skill sets necessary to adapt to and address technological challenges in today’s environment. Our high-end computer labs and talented team of instructors provide an environment where students can learn basic computer skills. The course covers:

  • Internet Concepts
  • Browsers
  • Email
  • Microsoft Word and Power Point

Microsoft Certification & Job Placement Course

This class is focused on developing technology skills to prepare the student to enter employment in an office setting. Students may choose to study for the MOS Word 2010 or MOS Excel 2010 certification exam. Students will also attend Job Readiness sessions to develop a well done resume and superb job interview skills.

Course Lasts for 5 Weeks

Please note: Students actively seeking employment will be given priority entry to the course. Must have intermediate computer skills to attend.

Intro to Microsoft Saturday Workshops

All workshops take place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
