How long have you been a mentor?
I've been working in secondary education since 2018. I began working at AHHS in November 2021.
What inspires you as a mentor?
I am inspired by the capacity of teachers, mentors and staff to develop relationships of care and support with students and each other. I am also inspired by the constant work of students and staff to make each day enough and try for more the next day, in perpetuity.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I was the president of the Harry Potter Club (the Magical Illini) in college and hosted a 450 student Yule Ball for charity in 2016 without ever having read any of the books.
