Child Welfare Services
Association House Child Welfare Services serves Chicago children and families referred by Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and is the only agency in Humboldt Park that provides placement services for Spanish speaking children with Spanish speaking families. Key focus areas include prevention, intervention, and finding loving homes for children through guardianship or adoption.
Licensed and credentialed staff make up a strong professional Child Welfare team who serve children and families with compassion and care. These professionals work diligently with families to keep children in their own homes whenever possible.
Our residential program, La Casita, provides a nurturing and structured group home for boys 12 to 18 years of age with developmental disabilities. The program provides knowledge and skill building to parents or guardians and offers hope to those who want to make a better life for their children.
Our Child Welfare Programs include:
- Foster Care Placement
- Intact Family Services
- Family Centered Services/Differential Response
- LaCasita Group Home
- Foster Parent Recruitment, Training, and Licensing (Learn more about eligibility.)
- Child welfare program placement is by referral only
