Donate a Gift, Bequest or Goods and Service

The community, education and wellness programs at Association House of Chicago are made possible in part through the generous donations of our partners, friends and supporters. When you invest in Association House of Chicago, your donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. There are several ways you can make contributions that will improve the quality of life in our community:

Financial Gifts

The services Association House provides would not be possible without monetary donations from individuals, organizations, businesses, and foundations. Unrestricted gifts of any amount are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Monthly Gifts

Help us provide services every day. We rely on our most loyal friends for support through monthly gifts.

Matching Gifts

Many companies match an employee’s donation to charitable organizations. Ask your employer if there is a matching gifts program at your workplace. You may be able to double your contribution to Association House.

Stock Transfer

Gifts of stock are easily transferred. For more information please contact Tom Slivosky at RBC Wealth Management at 312-559-1716 and ask about account #312-00413, DTC#0235.

Bequests

A bequest is a statement of intent that can be inserted in your will or living trust, and this planned gift is completely free of estate and other taxes. A charitable bequest can be established for a specific dollar amount, or for percentage of an estate or residuary estate. Naming opportunities are available at various giving levels. If you have included Association House in your will, please notify us so we may recognize your thoughtfulness.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind gifts are also very important to program operations. Donations of baby clothes, car seats, and diapers provide much needed supplies for our foster families. Non-perishable food items are always needed in the Food Pantry. Art and educational supplies will be put to good use in our educational programs. And new toys will help provide a holiday gift to a disadvantaged child or teen.

Volunteer

The gift of your time is priceless to Association House and the families we serve. There are select opportunities to utilize your skills and become involved in the programs of Association House that serve a diverse and multi-generational community.
