Nurse – Behavioral Health

Responsible for direct and indirect care given to assigned participants in compliance with state regulations, professional standards of practice, physician orders, and individual health plans. Conducts nursing assessments and identifies health needs. Coordinates primary and behavioral health care services. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and physician’s orders. Recommends and refers participants to appropriate medical services. Documents all services using program standards.  Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse degree required.  Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities required.  Experience working with persons with psychiatric disorders required.  Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.  Valid driving license, current car insurance, and daily use of car required.
