Registered Nurse - ACT
Responsible for direct and indirect care given to assigned participants in compliance with state regulations, professional standards of practice, physician orders, and individual health/treatment plans. Conducts nursing assessments and identifies health needs. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and physician’s orders. Provides health care case management to persons with severe mental illness or co-occurring disorders. Recommends and refers participants to appropriate medical services. Documents all services using program standards. Nursing degree from accredited university/college.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities required. Experience working with persons with psychiatric disorders required. Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
